Back to School time…

Yes people its that time of year again…back to school, which to us parents means SHOPPING!! UGH!  Oh well we know it comes around once a year so we might as well get on with it, right?  I thought I would make it a little easier and do a little window shopping for you on Etsy.  Take a look at the great back to school items I found…some pretty great things if I do say so myself.  Just make sure that you check out the shops on Etsy and see what other items you can find.

The Reds of Autumn…

I believe this to be a very rich Autumn color and love how it makes you feel!  Not only is it rich but it’s also very warming for those cold days and nights of Autumn.  Take a look at these fabulous items I discovered today on Etsy in this gorgeous color!

Fantastic Friday Finds…

 

Today’s Fantastic Friday Finds is going to be all about “BACK TO SCHOOL” yes I said it, back to school which for parents is just like saying  woooo hoooo!!  All kidding aside, we all know we love and cherish our babies no matter what they do (even if it is cutting your bed skirt and blaming the cat! yes true story!), so we know that it will take some special things to get them back to school in style and working order.  Take a look at these great Etsy finds I discovered!  You can’t go wrong with handmade!

 

What a great insulated lunch bag from Julie Meyer’s Etsy shop, not only is it insulated but its so fashionable.  Kind of makes me want to go back to school just so I can have one myself!   You should see for yourself all of the great bags she has there, if you don’t see one you like just ask her to make one specifically for you!

I love this idea personally!  These are the greatest pencils, so adorable and they look very sturdy.  I know my daughter would absolutely love them.  Maoiliosa did a great job, you really need to go over to their Etsy shop and see what other great finds are there.  They have more than just pencils!

Now here is a useful and stylish backpack.  Who wouldn’t want to carry this around cute backpack?  I know my kids are picky but my daughter would definitely carry this!  Etsy shop Lets Play All Day, out did themselves!  They have such a great array of other fabrics to choose from, there is bound to be something everyone will like.  Go check them out!

Everyone needs a composition book, even me…I can’t live without a notebook of some sort on me at all times.  Kids are no different, this is a definite staple in the back to school supplies.  Etsy shop Red Otter has done a great job with these notebooks, they have a ton of things in their shop just waiting for the right  person to come along and grab them, so go take a look I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic Friday Finds…

Ready for another addition of Fantastic Friday Finds?  I am!  Since last week was a birthday inspired post I decided to make the Fantastic Friday Finds be a themed posting every week.  This week’s inspiration comes from the need to write something…How long has it been since you “wrote” a letter instead of emailing or blogging? I can admit that it’s been way too long for me…I’ve become very dependent on my techie products these days and feel its time to “also” get back to the old fashioned way of getting in touch with someone and write them a letter (that does NOT mean I’m giving up my techie products!!)!  So here are some absolutely amazing finds from some great shops on Etsy who also seem to have the desire to get back to basics!

My first choice today is this beautiful Letterpress Note card set by Delphine Studio.  Take a look at the great monogram at the top of the card, simply beautiful in its boldness! LOVE IT!  Just think about the great note you can send a friend that isn’t expecting to receive a letter from you and how much they will enjoy it!

 

Next we have the writing utensil itself…you can’t actually write a letter with out the utensil to do so.  This  great piece of art from Etsy shop CGW Wood is the perfect pencil for this job!  Take a look at the amazing detail carved into the wood…beautiful and the color is to die for…what can I say I’m a girly girl at heart and love girly colors!

Now that the letter is written you need to customize the envelope and what better to do that with than this great return address stamp that will have your initial right in the center! LOVE this idea, its so personalized and can be used over and over again, and with any color of ink you choose to use!  Etsy shop Purple Lemon Designs has done a terrific job!

Last but not least we have another envelope embellishment…a very adorable idea from Etsy shop Paper Pastries.  This great stamp that simply says…”Please deliver to”…so adorable!  What a great idea!  This makes the envelope even more personalized for the recipient!
